Thinking of grabbing some Monfrere jeans, but usually I'm a 32 in Levi's. Do these run pretty true to size or should I size up/down?

I found them pretty spot on actually. I wear a 30 in most brands and their 30s fit me well, maybe a touch snug at first but they stretch nicely.

Yeah, same here. My normal size worked. If you're on the fence or between sizes, maybe consider the stretch denim options, they're super comfy.

How do Monfrere jeans stack up against something like Purple Brand or Amiri? Is the quality really that much better to justify the price?

I own both Monfrere and Purple Brand. Monfrere denim feels way softer and stretches more, it's definitely more comfortable for everyday wear. Purple Brand can be a bit stiffer. For me, Monfrere is worth it for the comfort and fit.

I've got some Monfrere and a couple pairs of Frame. Monfrere's denim just feels more premium, especially their stretch stuff. It holds up really well. Amiri is a different vibe entirely, much more distressed, but Monfrere's basics feel more refined.
